We wandered on towards the river that cuts through town, and saw a few more random things along the way. This fella playing the saw with a violin bow (actually sounded really cool!)...

This gorgeous rally-spec WRX parked on the footpath (if Skylines didn't exist, this is what I would aim for).

And some pretty detailed paint work - very cool!

This is Charles Bridge over the Vltava river. After its construction at the start of the 15th century, it was the only means of crossing the river and connecting Old Town to Prague Castle (below) after the bridge it replaced was destroyed by flooding (as you'll see in photos later on, it is far from the only bridge over the river now!). All vehicular traffic has been excluded from the bridge since 1978, and it is now only accessible to pedestrians.

Charles Bridge has itself been damaged on numerous occasions from flooding but nevertheless it still stands and is now a popular spot for pedestrians, people selling random stuff along its length, and this guy playing whatever this is.

Looking up towards Prague Castle, as seen from Charles Bridge.

Looking south along the Vltava from Charles Bridge.

And looking north along the river (Prague Castle is up on the left).

We headed for Prague Castle from Charles Bridge, passing by some very cool architecture, and avoiding being run down by the trams (those bastards move quick!).

This is the front door to Prague Castle - the largest medieval castle complex in Europe and one of the largest in the world. It's bloody impressive! And check out whose up above the gate...

...it's my mate from Vienna hahaha - still beating the crap out of someone! :)

I could do this for a living (just need the rifle).

Inside the perimeter of the castle is the bloody huge Gothic St. Vitus Cathedral (Prague's most recognisable landmark). Just like many of the other huge cathedrals I've now seen throughout Europe, it's impressive!

As seen from a neighbouring hill...

And as seen from the other side of the river.

Also contained within the castle are other churches, palaces, gardens, miscellaneous buildings, and Mo taking photos - it's pretty big in there!

While we were meandering through the castle, a number of guards went marching past. Turns out we were just in time to see the changing of the guards - exciting.

There are some pretty good views of the city from the castle, but Mo and I decided to bust our balls (or whatever females bust) up the neighbouring hill for an even better one.
