Aaron Around The World

Howdy y'all! This site went up back in 2005 and was primarily for family and friends to keep track of me during my travels around the world. For those who aren't aware of my story, I left home (Christchurch, New Zealand) on January 17, 2005 for Brisbane, Australia. After 19 months in Brisbane, I relocated to the United Kingdom - Edinburgh in Scotland for two years and London for three (including eight months in Paris, France), during which time I was able to travel extensively throughout Europe and beyond. My now-wife Kristina and I then embarked on a seven-month trip taking in Southeast Asia, New Zealand, Australia, and Central America. Following the next three years of living in New York City and a four-month road trip around the USA and Canada, we bought our first house near Kristina's home town in Austin, Texas, popped out a couple kids, and are living a more settled life (for now).

As for this website, it's basically a collection of photos, videos and other crap about my day-to-day life during my travels that I thought at least somebody out there might find mildly interesting or amusing (including me). I still update it from time to time, so stay tuned :)
