Day 2 (Sunday).		Katie spent yesterday running around and seeing a bit more of Ghent than I could be bothered to, and today we were repeating my ride of three years ago through to Sluis.		While they love cycling in these parts, they're not all best dressed for it hehe.

And so began our two hours of sunshine for the weekend.

The pretty wee town of Sluis some 16kms northeast of Bruges just over the Netherlands border.

Mid-afternoon, time for lunch:		Beer...		Waffles...

Pancakes...		More beer...		And my little spoon trick hehe.

We took a large detour back to Bruges along another canal.		Again, dedicated roadside cycle lanes and paths - Britain take note!

Tonight was our last here, so it was back to the Markt, and back to the brews! Belgium apparently produces some 400 different beers, and every single one of them has its own unique glass - very cool!		Scampi for me, escargot (yup, snails - we are close to France here) for Katie...		...followed by eel for me, and bunny rabbit for Katie. Awesome beer and amazing food - welcome to Belgium! :)

Breakfast the next day, the best omelette I've ever had - this one chocka with salmon. I know I've put up a lot of photos of food but trust me it's that good!		I washed it all down with something from the cow hahaha!

Bruges station for the trek home. That is a lot of cars, and they just kept coming!		One last tipple in Brussels while waiting for the Eurostar to depart for London...		...and I was out!

I clocked up 125kms on the bike over the two full days, though it would've been more if not for the damn weather (which had apparently been sunny and hot all last week). I ranted and raved plenty about Bruges last time and I don't think I need to repeat myself here. Needless to say if you ever get the opportunity then go, and if not well go watch In Bruges instead and see just some of what you're missing :)
